Ideation

1)Shape-borrowing can be used to create new designs because the shapes you chosen can be varied.This will instill new ideas in us causing us to create very innovative designs.It also makes the product much attractive as people might be interested in it due to its uniqueness.

2) SCAMPER can be used to refine the function because after the 'editing', the product/design is

improved on ,maybe by decreasing the total mass to increase the portability of the object.And this will

makes it more acceptable by the desired group of customers.It may help in decrease the cost of the

production of the desired object.It can also be adapted to the current 'taste' of the customers.

Sketching with Rubrics

Knowing the rubrics matrix has helped me guide myself to draw better but i have not drawn very well though.

1)This is an computer designed specifically for computer gaming.

2)the door knob is shaped as a hand and this will make people to close the door more often which may be useful in some situations. e.g. the room is air-conditioned and it is better to close the door to avoid the 'cooled' air from getting out and this will save electricity too.

3)the water bottles are quite hard to get hold of..

4)the bike light can easily be damaged
